Have you seen the swanky new building adjacent to the IITM campus and accessible from next to Tidel Park? The IITM Research Park was set up to promote research and development by industry in partnership with the institute.
More importantly for members, the IIT Alumni Club has entered into an agreement with the Research Park to make their extensive facilities available for use by club members at concessional rates!
The Research Park offers a wide selection of facilities for meetings and events. And Ginger Hotels (a smart budget hotel chain from the Tatas) offers residential accommodation. Both facilities are very reasonably priced - and further discounted for club members!
For Events and Meetings
Facilities at the IITM Research Park include:
- An Auditorium with a seating capacity of 111-125
- Seven state-of-the-art Conference Halls to seat from 20 to 70
- An Exhibition hall having a capacity for 50 people
Conference Halls come with Event Manager, LCD Projector, Audio and phone facility. There are VGA and Video cable accessories to bring out Audio, Video and PP Presentations from the Auditorium to the Conference Halls.
